Me and Jazrelle went to get our yearbook at our high school alma mater (Huasiong) and decided to eat at McDonald in Marymart mall afterward. After feeding ourselves we should proceed to go straight home because we had small cash left from ordering large amount of foods in McDonald. lol Passing by the mall, a chaos of people lifting clothes and a whole lot of "ukay-ukay" stands caught our attention. Since we enjoy buying clothes in ukay-ukays and not to mention also having skills in hunting good thrifty finds, we didn't hesitate to join the fun in digging in those pile of clothing. My purchases only cost Php150.00 for a total of all items. Jazrelle also picked out really cute ones too. At the end of the day, we ended up walking home. haha
The ukay stands was only launched for that day (Dec. 2, 2011). The sellers intend to offer their earnings for the Mother Butler Fund- Raising Activity/Charity.
Though we ended up having empty pockets, it's nice to know that we have been a part of helping, plus, we also get to add cheap yet cute clothes in our collection.
